Meet the artist
Colour and light have been at the heart of Francis Bowyer’s work, from vibrant paintings of the Suffolk coastline to atmospheric interior scenes and how the changing light interplays with the world around him.
A regular exhibitor and member of the Royal Watercolour Society and The New English Art Club, Francis also teaches painting and drawing up to post-graduate level.

WORKSHOP: Working With The Figure
27 October 2024, 10.30am - 4pm
Learn how to draw the figure through an understanding of light and shadow on a live model. Francis will help you understand the basic principles of tone and chiaroscuro to produce a series of sketches from a clothed and nude model.
This course is open to all levels.
